MTAC and JAG’D Edge Design Partner to Serve Your Business with Sound Solutions

When something is broken, you shouldn’t just fix it. You should learn why it broke in the first place and find a solution so it doesn’t break again. That’s how I operate and that’s part of the reason why I founded MTAC Industrial Solutions over 20 years ago. I believe in leaving things better than I found them and building solutions that are long lasting and provide value to the people and businesses I serve.

Integrity is not just a trait of my personal life- it extends to all aspects of my business, including my business partners. I believe operating with integrity in all things is the way it should be done and I’ve been blessed in my business by living out that truth.

I first met Jon Poynter and his wife, Jen, a decade ago at our church and I had no idea one day we’d be working together. But that’s exactly what I’m so excited to announce! Jon, of JAG’D Edge Design, has partnered with our MTAC Industrial Solutions team on recent major projects. Jon’s extensive background in the industrial manufacturing industry makes him a natural fit with MTAC.

Jon started JAG’D (which stands for Journey After God’s Desire) Edge Design with the intent to work on small industrial designs and to produce some creative design pieces. He owns and operates several machines and is able to do fully customizable work on his CNC plasma cutter or his CNC router machine. A CNC plasma and a CNC router allow his work to be precise and completely tailored to match the designs he works with and with 40 years of experience working with CNC engraving technology, he has the know how to make sure anything fabricated is structurally sound.

His industrial background means he can also do customized fabrication pieces. He started his business right around the same time we were looking for a partner to help craft our customized Health Safety Barriers. Our Health Safety Barriers can be tailored to any client’s specifications and includes freestanding pieces, hung, or affixed to an existing wall or surface. This allows our teams at MTAC and JAG’D Edge Design the flexibility to outfit any space we’re working on the right way so we’re not just installing prefabricated barriers that may not properly fit the space. Jon’s convertible machine easily transitions between materials including metals, composites, and plastics, making it easy to find the best custom and customizable solutions for our clients.

Jon’s extensive background in the aerospace manufacturing industry brings a wealth of experience to our industrial work. We’ve been friends for more than 10 years and have a foundational bond rooted in faith that made getting into business together an easy decision. Trust is important in any partnership but especially in business partnerships. What Jon brings to our team is a solutions-focused work ethic and the drive to get things done.

When Jon isn’t working, he’s an avid sailor and spends as much time as he can on his boat. A regular at area lakes, Jon heads out 2-3x per week on the water. For him, sailing is more than just a hobby, it’s a passion he has nurtured for over 41 years.

I’m so excited to have Jon and JAG’D Edge Design join our MTAC family. We can’t wait to serve you and your business with integrity, ingenuity, and sound solutions.
